I experienced April 12 twice … Manila at LA. Umalis kami ng gabi ng April 12, dumating kami sa LA umaga ng April 12.

Lost my silver Snoopy watch-keychain at NAIA. Probably, noong ipinasok sa x-ray machine yung backpack ko…naipit sa coveyor ?!?! Oh well…

Landed: Narita Airport (Japan)

While waiting, I saw an internet terminal…. online sana ako kaso 100 yen. Di na lang, picture-an na lang.

Even a glass of coke is worth 350 yen, picture na lang din.

Narita airport to LAX

We passed through the Customs and Immigration, smoothly. My cellphone (actually it’s Kuya Alvin’s fone … we traded for a while … roaming issues) suddenly gained signal and the words “Cingular” became visible … time changed … and a bunch of text messages came in, welcoming me to America and informing of some roaming keywords to remember. Ate Carina picked us up from the airport, she drives this

straight from the airport, (although, ngarag pa ko sa biyahe!) we went to see the LA Cathedral … ate lunch/snack … got my first coke paper cup. Then we decided to see the HOLLYWOOD sign … on the way, kinailangan nming bumaba sa kotse at magpicture taking (shempers) along Hollywood Blvd. For some reason, nasira pa ang dala nming camera. Nice timing nman! Good thing, may dala si Ate Carina na digital cam… so tuloy pa rin ang picture-picture! Saw the Chinese Theater, hand and footprints of famous celebs, the Hollywood walk of fame, Kodak Theater, Wax Museum, Ripley’s Believe it Or Not … then nakaramdam na ng pagod sila Nanay at Tatay … so instead going to the HOLLYWOOD sign, we decided to go home.

On the way home, we passed by one of Ate Carina & Kuya Jojo’s dental clinic. Busy si kuya Jojo!

Dumating si Christine with Kyte and Kevin. Minutes before magsara ang mga stores, nagpasama kami kay Christine to buy a new camera. Una, sa Circuit City…pro wala kming nakitang maganda. Then hinabol nmin ang closing ng Best Buy … that’s where we got our $380+ Sony Camera. Ah, kasama na 1gb memory at adaptor.

Bago umuwi, dumaan muna kami sa bahay nila Christine at Edmond Elguira.

Si tatay natulog mag-isa sa guest room at kami ni nanay sa kwarto ni Kyte.
